IITM YOUTUBE: There’s a reason for everything…. often we focus on the ‘effect’ rather than the ’cause’… in some cases of depression and anxiety, can be the result of eating ‘normal’ foods

ARE YOU AWARE OF HONEY-LAUNDERING? Food-safety experts have found that much of the honey sold in the United States isn’t actually honey, but a concoction of corn or rice syrup, malt sweeteners or “jiggery” (cheap, unrefined sugar), plus a small amount of genuine honey, according to Wired UK.

Surfers And Salt Water: How much salt is enough? That depends!

THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF HIMALAYAN PINK CRYSTAL SALT

Many commercial sunscreen lotions can be a catalyst for cancer… and they probably have more in common with the oil in your car, than coconuts, sesame, sunflower or other plants that provide us with healthy oils.

WHY MANY ARE LOW ENERGY? Much of the food that is available for human consumption has been “tampered with”. The food which you could grow in your own backyard is very different from the food that is sold in your stores around the world. The suppliers are often motivated by profit rather than the health of the consumers. Most are not aware of the impurities and toxins which are added to your food; as a result many suffer from low energy levels and sluggish digestive systems.

    1. The ancients before chlorination (a salt based chemical process) used to ‘salt’ the water.. especially stagnated wells etc.. salt was used to purify or as a preservative and later as a condiment..as medicine, mouth wash disinfectant to dry pus and heal and clean wounds..

Salt was money.. hence saying ‘worth his weight in salt’ and ‘salary’ .. without salt Napoleons soldiers died from their wounds..

Gatorade the sports drink was a salted drink invented to restore salt levels depleted by sweat ..

Many men died from drinking excess water that leached the salts from their starved bodies in forced labour Burma Railway etc..

For a little salt in water not a briny mix to improve plant health and that of our own is not amazing but completely natural considering the abundance of the salt found in the earth and ocean.

    1. that may be a man with the name jesus, but that is not YEshua and I am 100% sure on that.. I come on here for info on how to regenerate scrap vegetables and what to I get this! No no no no.. It’s not the true YEshua. Sorry… Hate to burst your bubble.

      1. Missy Holmes, I agree with you 100%. I just want to learn about growing food. Not listen to blasphemy.

      2. @Missy Holmes and @NurseNelly — AGREED!! I came for the information on growing food and found this most egregious (egregious, adjective, means: shocking, appalling, terrible, awful, horrendous, frightful, atrocious, abominable, abhorrent, outrageous; monstrous, heinous, dire, unspeakable, shameful, unforgivable, intolerable, dreadful; grievous) material. These people don’t know what to believe so they’ve combined every theory the evil one has made up and proposed to mankind, and are trying to consolidate it all into one ‘belief’ that is just full of holes they then have to fill with more lies!! Wouldn’t it just be easier to read the Bible and put your simple faith into a simple plan, one that God has offered for FREE to anyone who believes it?? It’s so much work to come up with all this alternate mumbo jumbo; Why not just relax and put your faith into the one who made you, who knows exactly how many hairs are on your head and how many feathers are on the sparrow, because he put them there! Something’s going to happen, and it’s going to happen soon…but not on December 21, 2012!! hahaha God says that no man knows the day or time. I plan on being surprised and until then…I put my faith in the One Who made me!!

      3. What’s up? I haven’t been to this page in a while; I just wanted to reread the part about regrowing celery from the base. What is all this Indian In The Machine stuff???

  3. I started three leeks from cutting the root ends off, soaking them in warm water overnight, and planting in the dirt the next morning…. it’s been 5 days and the little plants have popped about an inch above the ground level! Very happy with the result, have more to plant, and thus more to use. Thank you so much! Ginger next!

  4. Reblogged this on prepperpenny and commented:
I try to research and write my phone articles but every now and again I run into something that someone else is done that is just exceptional. I found this piece to be worth sharing and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

  5. My ginger sprouted after leaving it too long on my counter, so I planted it. It\’s about two and a half feet tall right now, and I am thinking of moving it to a bigger pot. I’ve read that you can grow it in your garden, but I live in Alaska, so I’m not going to chance it.

  6. What a great post. I started earlier this year with the celery and I was amazed to see how well it had grown within a matter of days. We are waiting now for other seeds so we can use them for next year. It’s amazing what you can learn and how you can save some money in the budget. Cheers, great post, lots of great links. I shared it with my FB fans! Cheers Mr.CBB

    1. thanks for the great info. I have grown the avocado before, but will be trying it again, along with some of the others. Thanks
